week 07 – Ephesians 3 – “The Mystery”
This week we’re talking about Ephesians 3.
Paul introduces a “GREAT MYSTERY” here that he says has been hidden for generations and is “now reveled.”
He also says that we can approach Jesus with freedom & confidence… Incredible.
And then he prays for the church in Ephesus (and us too), that they (and we) would have power & love & knowledge from God, SO THAT they (and we) could (1) understand just how much He loves us, and (2) that we would be filled with the FULLNESS of God.
QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF
- Am I filled with the measure of “ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD”?
- How could I be filled with even more of His FULLNESS? What does this passage say about that?
- Why are we able to approach Jesus with freedom & confidence? Do I experience that free & confident approach?
- What is the mystery Paul mentions & what does it mean for us now?
- Jesus, what do you want to say to me through this chapter of Scripture?

This week, read through Ephesians 3 as many times as you want to.
Think about the mystery that is now revealed & being able to approach Jesus with freedom & confidence.
Ask God if there are any areas in your life that need more of His fullness.
Let this theme guide your God time all week, and even your thoughts and conversation with Him through out your days, all week long.
Let Him speak to you about this idea of “being filled to the measure of all the fullness of God”, and see what He says.
