week 13 – Galatians 3 – “Children of God & Nothing Else”
This week we’re talking about Galatians 3.
We live life in this pendulum swing from faith to works, from works to faith, 100 times a day.
But Paul is ADAMANT that we get it into our think skulls, deep into our spirits, that the right and wrong we do has no power to affect our being justified with God.
It is literally only by faith that we are justified, so life by faith and let that faith LEAD you to a transformed lifestyle… not trying to be made right with God on your own THROUGH your good lifestyle.
There’s a RADICAL DIFFERENCE THERE!
But when we finally lean back into Christ by faith, we find a deep sense of Sonship, Identity, Confidence, Peace, Joy… all that is made available to us in Christ.
Let’s take some time this week to hear from God about who we really are in Him when we rest in faith in Him.
QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF
- What do I do personally that makes me feel like it makes me right with God (even though we know it doesn’t)
- What do I do personally that makes me feel like it makes me dirtier and more un-justified with God?
- What parts of my identity (list them specifically) do I let define me & my self image/worth/confidence/etc.?
- What/who does God say that I am when I rest in His Identity over me?

This week, read through GALATIANS 3 as many times as you want to.
Think about the CONFIDENCE THAT COMES FROM & IS AVAILABLE IN CHRIST.
Ask God if there are any areas in your life that need some reshaping in order to LIVE & WALK IN THIS TYPE OF GOD-CONFIDENCE.
Let this theme guide your God time all week, and even your thoughts and conversation with Him through out your days, all week long.
Let Him speak to you about this idea of GODLY CONFIDENCE, and see what He says.
