WEEK 15 – READING
This week we’re talking about “Reading.”
Of course it is VITALLY IMPORTANT that we are spending time in The Word, reading the Bible & letting God speak to us through His LIVING WORD.
But we believe that it is also extremely powerful to spend some time reading other books as well.
FIRST AND FOREMOST, make sure you are spending time in Scripture, if you’re missing out on that because of reading other books, then back it up a step & get into that Word, it will be life for you WAY more than books, & that is absolute priority numero uno!
But if you have a good stable foundation of regular daily Bible reading, diving into some other books is a great way to learn from others who have gone before you.
The Lord has given revelation to others & theres no need for you to have to reinvent the wheel there, & I can learn some incredible lessons from these “mentors” & authors the Lord has spoken to, so dive in & don’t miss out on that.
QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF
- What topics interest you that the Lord might be wanting to speak to you about growing in that area?
- What stories/people/biographies/etc. interest you that could challenge or inspire you to read about & learn & grow from?
- What authors really challenge & inspire you that you could dig into further books of theirs?

WEEKLY FOCUS
This week, read through each one of these Scriptures each morning.
Think about just how valuable it is to commit specific time to READING.
Ask God if there are any areas you need to surrender or change in order to devote more time to connecting with God through & LETTING HIM SPEAK TO YOU THROUGH READING.
Let this theme guide your God time all week, and even your thoughts and conversation with Him through out your days, all week long.
