WEEK 52 – “The Sure Fire Way To Healing… (not what you think)”
There is ONE sure fire way to healing and a DEEP, POWERFUL move of the Spirit of God, and that is open, public confession!
I know, yikes.
But that’s exactly why, right there.
That feeling you just had in the pit of your stomach when you read what that word confession, THAT’s a little proof for you as to how much God LOVES the humble, broken, contrite heart that is finally at the place of confessing openly, admitting that we are sinners, divulging what we’ve done, and coming al the way down before others.
Usually we want to seem high up in front of others, but OH the power of coming all the way down.
Of going low.
Of publicly confessing sin.
That is the humblest place you can possibly be in.
And God ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT.
He LOVES the broken & contrite heart.
He LOVES when we admit that we are in deep need of Him.
He LOVES when we are no longer all put together, and we are open about being weak & wedding the strength He provides.
He loves it when we bring our mess to each other, and the humility he sees there.
And He is SO quick to move in with mercy & forgiveness & healing.
Let this idea of public confession loose in your church and I’m telling you, get ready for the most powerful move of God you have ever seen or witnessed.

- Who do you think you could go to to confess to in person? A friend? An accountability partner? A small group? Your pastor? Your church?
