WEEK 54 – “Are You Secure or Insecure?”
A few years ago we had a pretty bad earthquake here in Napa, CA.
There have definitely been worse around the world, but for us it was definitely scary and unnerving.
Eventually we got over it and had peace again, but it definitely got me thinking, that there really is no such thing as true security or peace ANYWHERE in this world.
No amount of money, no 401k, no self-defense classes, no moving to the “safest city in the world’. Nothing.
Anything could happen, anywhere, and security would be gone, and peace would be gone.
THE only security that exists ANYWHERE is found in CHRIST & eternity with Him.
That’s IT.
But instead of that being unnerving, it’s actually pretty freeing.
It actually brings MORE security, MORE peace.
Knowing that He’s THAT strong, it kind of let’s you unravel a little bit more & rest in His love & grace.
It let’s you fear less & trust more, and let Him have your life more.
If this world has no security for us, and we’re made for Heaven, then I don’t need to worry myself with self-protecting or fear of anything really.
Because I am in the Father’s hands, & Heaven is going to be better than I could possibly imagine!
Let’s chat about TRUE SECURITY in this video, and finally start walking in the TRUST & PEACE & SECURITY that Jesus has for us & that He wants FROM us.
